Description

Manages the Log feature. Logging channels can each be configured with their own set of event types to log.

Channels: List

Lists all channels currently configured for logging.

Channels: Add

Adds a channel for logging. After adding it, select the event types to log for that channel. This only works while the bot has the View Audit Log permission. Most log types need it to show who performed an action, and some would not be logged at all without it.

Channels: Edit

Edits which event types are logged to an already configured channel. Like adding a channel, this only works while the bot has the View Audit Log permission.

Channels: Remove

Removes a channel from logging.

Ignore: Add / Remove User

Adds or removes a user from the ignore list, so their actions are not logged. The ignore list (users and channels) is used by the new server log, which is rolling out to servers gradually.

Adds or removes a channel from the ignore list, so events in it are not logged.

When adding or editing a logging channel, you can select any combination of the following event types:

  • Member Role Changes
  • Message Logs
  • Message Logs (Detailed)
  • Misc
  • Moderation Actions
  • Auto Moderation Actions
  • Name Changes
  • Role Changes
  • Thread Logs
  • Thread Logs (Detailed)
  • Voice Changes
  • Voice Changes (Detailed)
  • Future Types (new event types are added to this channel automatically)
