# Quote

/quote <url>
```

## Description

Quotes a message from another channel into the current channel via a webhook, mimicking the original author's name and avatar.

Messages from another server can be quoted too, when that server shares its messages and this server accepts quotes from other servers. Both are set with [`/quoting`](https://docs.utilbot.co/commands/admins/quoting). You have to be a member of the other server and able to read the channel the message is in.

This command is only available on servers that have the `MESSAGE_QUOTING` feature.
