# Welcome

## Enable / Disable Command

```txt theme={null}
/welcome <enable/disable>
```

### Description

Enables / Disables the welcome members feature.

### Permission

`ADMINISTRATOR`

### Arguments

## Join Command

```txt theme={null}
/welcome join <enable/disable>
/welcome join config [channel] [message] [send-card]
```

### Description

Manages the message that is sent when a Member joins the server. `config` without arguments shows the current settings.

A channel and a message have to be configured before the join message can be enabled.

### Permission

`ADMINISTRATOR`

### Arguments

| channel\* | Channel | The text or announcement channel to send the join message in | #welcome |
| message\* | String | The message to send. Placeholders: `{user}` and `{server}`. Max 2000 Characters. | Welcome \{user} to \{server}! |
| send-card\* | Boolean | Whether to attach a welcome card image | True |

`*: This is only available on the 'config' subcommand.`

## Leave Command

```txt theme={null}
/welcome leave <enable/disable>
/welcome leave config [channel] [message]
```

### Description

Manages the message that is sent when a Member leaves the server. `config` without arguments shows the current settings.

A channel and a message have to be configured before the leave message can be enabled.
